We are a bulk billing practice for all standard consultations. Other consultations, such as Workers Compensation, Third Party or Medicals (i.e. pre-employment, Driving, Bus / Taxi) and medical reports also attract a private fee payable at the time of consultation. Please contact the surgery if you require further information on our fees.
If you require travel vaccinations, please make an appointment to see your doctor. The consultation will incur a standard fee plus the additional cost of the vaccines.
Patients are requested to make a brief appointment with their doctor to obtain results. We do not provide results over the telephone.
Reminders / Recalls
Our practice is committed to preventative care. We may contact you from time to time advising that a follow up appointment is required to continue preventative health services appropriate to your care.
Referrals & Specialists
Your doctor is responsible for arranging the services of an appropriate and competent specialist when required. It is essential for the correct management of your condition that the specialist receives a detailed report from your doctor. The referral will normally be provided by consultation.
Your doctor will generally dispense enough medication to last until you are next reviewed. When you require repeat medication please make an appointment with your doctor prior to having your last prescription filled to avoid running out. If your doctor is unavailable another doctor may write a script for you if you make an appointment. If you request a script over the phone and the doctor deems that to be appropriate there will be a non-rebatable charge of $510.00. Due to the requirements of privacy legislation we ask you notify our staff if you are allowing someone else to collect your prescription or referral on your behalf.
Our practices provide after hours services via the Bridges GP After Hours Service. This is located at 169 Central Coast Highway, Erina phone: 4367 9699.
No appointment is necessary however a fee will apply for consultations at Bridges. Alternatively you may call Health Direct on 1800 022 222 for free access to medical advice over the phone.
